... then lovelessdevotions is a one-person goldmine for you and watching her at the very least for her journals will enrich your devious art discovery. She posts at least 4 regular features including interviews and stuff for ASOIAF junkies, and she'll make an astonishing presentation out of any collection of gems she amasses around here. Seriously, just stroll trough her recent few journals and you'll know if her curation is up your alley or not, because while artistic taste is subjective, her eye for ultra high quality artwork is undeniable.

I believe deviants who collect and curate and feature are as important for an art community as the artists themselves and I'm glad lovelessdevotions and I crossed art radars this year because I found dozens of insanely talented and skilled artists thanks to her, not to mention the dozens of amazing DD suggestions she regularly sent my way.
Honorary DD privileges for regular deviants should be a thing.

So yeah, if you like watching devious curators, do yourself a favor and take a peek at her journals and watch her if you dig the things and stuff.

The Next Big Interview: Kiddo428
Story is the most important thing I care about. Lighting, composition, color, characters, all work for my story."– kiddo428
In launching The Next Big Interview series, a talk with Kiddo428 feels appropriate on many levels, and not without a dash of the fortuitous thrown in for good measure. KD was featured in the inaugural edition of The Next Big Thing, a journal that exists to bring recognition to the extraordinary talents and dedicated professionals DeviantArt houses within its profuse member ranks, but who often go unnoticed or undervalued for months and years in the community. With his inimitable style and undeniable skill, KD perfectly fulfilled the ethos of the feature, as these qualities were combined with a DA profile that in no way matched the kind of exposure and acknowledgement his art merited. Besides being the poster artist for what

Illustrating Westeros: ASOIAF Artists Speak XIXForget what you think you know or love about A Song of Ice and Fire, and come back to it after having seen the drawings and paintings  completed by the award-winning artist Marc Fishman, who worked on the Subterranean Press publication of an illustrated limited edition of A Dance with Dragons, the fifth novel in the series. Not only does Fishman enhance our appreciation for Martin's writing through the piercing eloquence and visceral nature of his pieces, but his work also inspires a deeper interrogation with the thematic concerns the book explores, reaching new heights of poignancy in his depiction of desolate war-ravaged lands, displaced peoples, acute suffering and alienation, tense negotiations, epic conflicts and, through it all, the powerful capacity of the human spirit to endure and persevere. This penetrating artistic perspective is matched by  Marc's th  Rethink Pink

If I Could DD - Digital ArtThis journal feature is part of a great community project to promote the wonderful art that deviants believe to be Daily Deviation worthy. In my time as a DD suggester,  I've learnt that considering the entire image is key: style, composition, concept and execution must all come into play when deciding the merit of a particular painting. This is a selection of the pieces I would choose if I could DD....

I almost forgot, of course check her Favorites and collections. Don't drool yourself to death.

Who are your favorite curators on DA? Do you watch anyone just for their features? Tell me or be haunted by a stinky cloud of cheese fumes eternally.
